The high speed rail revolution will be arriving shortly at platform nine and three-quarters...ok well maybe not that platform but Eurostar trains will shortly be redirected to St Pancras International which has recently has had £800m makeover.
So what's the big deal?
Well, it's great news for those of us on the south coast that can now travel to Brussels in just 111 minutes, but, what about the Brits living further north than the circular M25? Unfortunately it will now be quicker to visit Paris from London than it takes on the domestic train journey, London to Liverpool!
